Hello! I’m Nancy Basile. I’m here to manage social media for local service providers. Whether you’re a salon, landscaper, wedding professional, photographer or other service provider, if your customer base is in your community, I can help you attract new clients.
You want to grow your business by harnessing the power of social media, but you don’t have the time or desire to do it yourself. That’s where I come in. I can use social media to not only attract more leads, but also attract the right leads.
My internet career began in 1999, when we were coding HTML by rubbing two sticks together. (At least, it seems like that now.) From there, I began freelancing for different internet publications. I had to learn how to use social media to make sure my content was seen by as many people as possible.
In the last twenty years, I’ve seen the rise and fall of many internet trends, which means I know what works and what doesn’t. I also stay on top of the latest trends and technology to continually improve my Facebook and Instagram strategies. I package all of that knowledge and skill into my services for small business owners who provide services to their local communities.
That way, business owners stay focused on what they know best: their business. They let me handle all the social media, knowing that their accounts are in safe hands.
I grew up in West Virginia, just outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. (Go Steelers!) Then I was off to Otterbein University, on the outskirts of Columbus, Ohio. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, I moved around quite a bit, spending time in Los Angeles, Cleveland and then New Jersey.
My husband and I moved from New Jersey to Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 2000. We thought we would be moving after a few years. Almost 20 years later, we’re still here with our two children and loving every minute of it.
I’ve always worked with computers and the internet in one way or another, whether I was training employees how to use software or build a website, or creating and managing content for websites and blogs.
Now, I’m offering my skills to small local business owners. I’ve seen so many fantastic business owners struggle with juggling their online marketing along with all of their other jobs. I can take away the stress and overwhelm of social media marketing. With me, you can “set it and forget it.” (Of course, I do the setting; you do the forgetting.)
As a writer , I’m happy to create content for you, so you can focus on your growing business. I will tailor my “voice” to whatever your brand needs, whether it’s a formal AP style or a more casual, blogger tone.
