Just as the daffodils and hyacinths are waking up and blooming, so is my brain. I finally–finally!– began writing Book 3 in the River Sutton Mysteries series.
The outline seemed to take forever, because Book 3 will be a closed door mystery. Ish. I had a lot of moving parts to weave in and out of the story.
But I’m finally past the outlining stage and into writing the first draft. Four chapters down, who knows how many to go? The book will be as long as it needs to be.
Here’s what I can tell you:
- Robin moved into her new house.
- Chris and Robin are dating.
- Jenn and Deb are opening a bed and breakfast.
- The mystery takes place at Christmastime.
- A furry friend adopts Robin.
I have two working titles. My title generator–my daughter–didn’t sign off on them, however, feeling they were too cutesy. Too bad! I love both of them and I’ll have to narrow it down to one (obviously) in the coming months.
I’m excited! It feels good to be writing again. (Thank you, brain.)
